2 | Disconnect lamp check control unit connector (A16.1) | ||
3 | Remove lamp check control unit (A16) | ||
4 | Disconnect radio remote control control unit connector (A25.1) | ||
5 | Unclip radio remote control control unit (A25) | ||
6 | Disconnect transponder connector (A47.1) | ||
7 | Remove vacuum line (12) from air circulation flap valve (M40y77) | ||
8 | Disconnect connector (S80.1) from parking brake switch (S80) | ||
9 | Remove bolt (1) | ||
10 | Unscrew bolt (2) from supporting strut (3) | ||
11 | Remove bolts (5) | ||
12 | Remove bolt (4) | ||
13 | Remove bolt (11) | ||
14 | Remove bolts (6) | Allow shift lever bracket to hang down with shift cables connected. | |

15 | Remove bolts (8) | | |
16 | Unscrew nuts (7) | Pull steering column downward | |
| |||
17 | Unhook spring (9) from brake pedal | ||
18 | Unscrew bolts (10) and remove instrument panel carrier | Ensure that no electrical lines are damaged. | |
19 | Install in the reverse order |
