2 | Remove footwell paneling (7) | On vehicles with code (LHD) left-hand steering remove right paneling and on vehicles with code (RHD) right-hand steering remove left paneling | |
3 | Remove center console cover (3) at front | ||
4 | Pull paneling (2) out of retaining clips downward and remove | ||
5 | Unscrew bolts (4, 5) | ||
6 | Unclip glove compartment (6) from retaining clips (arrows) and lower until plug (9) and retaining clip (8) are accessible | Installation: Ensure that retaining clips (arrows) and guide (10) are seated properly. | |
7 | Disconnect plug (9) from glove compartment lamp (E13/1) and loosen retaining clip (8) | ||
8 | Remove glove compartment (6) | ||
9.1 | Unclip glove compartment lamp (E13/1) | When replacing glove compartment (6). | |
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
11 | Check glove compartment lamp (E13/1) for proper function |
