1 Mark separation point (area A),
dimension a = approx. 15mm
and cut through with body saw and cutting disk.
Cut through carefully, in order not to damage the inner sill located underneath.
2 Expose welding spots and mill off using a spot weld cutter (areas B, C, D, D1, E, E1, F and G).

3 Expose welding spots and mill off using a spot weld cutter (areas H, I, J, K and L).
4 Remove section.

5 Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas. Sand spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides
6 Remove grinding and drilling chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
7 Coat insides of spot welding flanges and rivet connections with zinc dust paint.
