Install straightening bench (1)

The assembly instructions can be found in the CAR-O-Liner assembly plan.

Attach two anchoring attachments (2) to the left and right on the straightening bench (1)

The anchoring attachments (2) are mounted on the straightening bench (1) in such a way that they float.

Danger

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Lift the body with the vehicle lift and align the straightening bench (1) beneath it

Align the anchoring attachments (2) with the lift support points on the longitudinal member outer shell of the body

Use either the "Classic" or "Vision" measurement system.
The position of the anchoring attachments (2) is specified by the measurement system.

Lower the body with the vehicle lift, position it in the anchoring attachments (2) and place the steel clamping jaws of the anchoring attachments (2) in position


Ensure that the body has been firmly clamped in the steel clamping jaws of the anchoring attachments (2).
Otherwise, it may be torn out during straightening procedures.

Assemble and set up the measurement system in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

The assembly and set-up instructions are given in the measurement system's screen menu.

Check

Approach the measuring points on the body and compare the positions of the measuring tips with the drive points on the body.

The test process is specified by the measurement system, the instructions and evaluations are given via the measurement system's screen menu.

Remove the measuring slide from the body

Assemble the straightening equipment on the straightening bench (1)

The assembly instructions can be found in the CAR-O-Liner assembly plan.
The straightening bench "Mark 6" Standart BM02 is only the basic system, additional accessories (e.g. required hydraulic cylinder with pump) is to be requested and ordered from the supplier of the straightening bench (1).

Revert the body to its original form with the straightening equipment

Check

Approach the measuring points on the body again and compare the positions of the measuring tips with the drive points on the body.

If necessary, repeat the straightening procedure and subsequent test procedure.

Dismantle the straightening bench (1) in reverse order

Rectify all paintwork damage on the body in the area of the measuring points and anchoring attachments (2)
