Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)

Remove front section of front left or right fender liner in front area until the outer PARKTRONIC sensor (1) is accessible

When removing an outer PARKTRONIC sensor (1).

Remove the front bumper

When removing an inner PARKTRONIC sensor (5).

3.1

Carefully release the catch hooks on the holder (2) by hand in direction of arrow and pull inner PARKTRONIC sensor (5) out of holder (2)

When removing an inner PARKTRONIC sensor (5).

 Installation:
Make sure that the electrical line is routed and secured correctly.
Otherwise, the electric line will be damaged.

Carefully release the catch hooks on the holder (2) using a clip remover in the direction of the arrow and pull outer PARKTRONIC sensor (1) out of holder (2)

When removing an outer PARKTRONIC sensor (1).

 Installation:
Make sure that the electrical line is routed and secured correctly.
Otherwise, the electric line will be damaged.

Disconnect electrical connector (3)

Check decoupling element (4) on removed inner PARKTRONIC sensor (5) or outer PARKTRONIC sensor (1) for damage and correct seating

If the decoupling element (4) is damaged.



Replace decoupling element (4).

If the decoupling element (4) is not correctly seated.



Correct position of decoupling element (4).

Install in the reverse order



Perform function check of outer PARKTRONIC sensors (1) and inner PARKTRONIC sensors (5)
