Remove

Remove digital tachograph (1) with electrical lines connected.

When the buffer battery (5) is removed, the vehicle power supply must always remain connected to the digital tachograph (1).
Otherwise commissioning of the digital tachograph (1) is not possible.

Remove security seal adhesive label (2) and the cover (4) of battery compartment (3).

Remove buffer battery (5) from battery compartment (3) and disconnect electrical connector (6).

Install

Connect electrical connector (6).

Insert buffer battery (5) into battery compartment (3).

Close cover (4) of battery compartment (3).

Affix new security seal adhesive label (2).

The security seal adhesive label (2) must be stuck over the cover (4).

8

Install digital tachograph (1).
