Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)

Release trim (2) and remove with attached electric lines from working area

Remove bolts (3)

Remove cover (4)

Release start/stop button (1) at retaining tabs (5) and push in direction of arrow (arrow A) out of holder (6) and into instrument panel

Route start/stop button (1) through the opening in the instrument panel until the electrical connector (7) is accessible

Disconnect electrical connector (7) and remove start/stop button (1)

Install in the reverse order

Check

Perform function test of start/stop button (1)
