No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Check

Check battery fluid level of individual battery cells

The battery fluid level is correct, when the battery acid is level with the maximum mark (arrow) in the filler opening.

If the battery fluid level is too low.

Correct battery fluid level.

Use only distilled water for topping up.
Do not fill above the max. mark (arrow).
