Remove/Install

Danger!

Risk of explosion caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel.

No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Remove fuel tank

Unscrew union nut (1)

Loosen the fuel pump with the fuel level sensor (3) from the fuel tank, raise it and unhook the float linkage from the fuel pump with the fuel level sensor (3)

Do not bend the float linkage; otherwise, the fuel level indicator will not show the correct fill level of the fuel tank.

Guide the fuel pump with the fuel level sensor (3) out of the fuel tank carefully

Installation: Check condition of gasket (2), replace if necessary.

Take out the float linkage from the fuel tank

Install in the reverse order
