Remove/install

Switch on ignition and leave transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button inserted in electronic ignition lock control unit

KEYLESS-GO start/stop button only with code (889) Keyless-Go.

The transmitter key or the KEYLESS-GO start/stop button must not be removed during the entire work procedure. It must also not be removed when the ground line is disconnected from the on-board electrical system battery. The electric steering lock control unit (N26/5) will otherwise lock and can then not be removed.

Remove steering column tube (1)

Unscrew nut (2)

*BA46.10-P-1019-03N

Push grub screw (3) into electric steering lock control unit (N26/5) and guide electric steering lock control unit (N26/5) upward out of steering column tube (1)

Install in the reverse order
