Remove/install

Perform commissioning of electric steering lock control unit (N26/5).

If the electric steering lock control unit (N26/5) is replaced.



Switch off ignition.

with code 889 (KEYLESS-GO)

 The transmitter key must remain in the vehicle, otherwise the steering lock is locked and cannot be removed.

Remove steering column tube (3).

Unscrew bolt (1).

 Bolt, steering lock control unit to steering column tube

Operate catch hook (2) and remove electric steering lock control unit (N26/5) from steering column tube (3).

Install in the reverse order.
