Remove/install

Remove lower steering shaft from steering shaft bearing (1).

AR46.10-D-7310TS

Lower steering shaft remains on the steering gear.

Remove bolt (2).

Screw, steering shaft to steering shaft bearing

Remove universal joint (3) from steering shaft bearing (1).

Installation:
Ensure the installation position of the guide (5) is correct.
Otherwise, malfunctions and damage may occur due to an incorrectly fastened universal joint (3).

Screw, steering shaft to steering shaft bearing

Unscrew nuts (4).

Screw/nut, steering shaft bearing to firewall

Remove steering shaft bearing (1).

Installation: Ensure that the steering shaft bearing (1) is correctly seated.

Install in the reverse order.
