Remove/install

Operate brake pedal several times with engine switched off.

This reduces the vacuum in the brake booster (2).

Remove vacuum line (1) from brake booster (2).

Seal connection on brake booster (2).

Installation: Inspect gasket for damage.

Record plug

*129589009100

If the seal is damaged,

replace seal.

Remove vacuum line (1).

To do so, remove vacuum line (1) from line (3) of vacuum pump and route out of engine compartment.
Seal connection on line (3).

Record plug

Install in the reverse order.

Check

5

Perform brake test.
