Remove/install

Operate the brake pedal several times when the engine is switched off

In order to reduce the vacuum in the brake booster (2).

Remove the master brake cylinder

Seal off check valve (1) together with vacuum line on brake booster (2)

Detach electrical line from brake fluid switch on brake booster (2)

Installation: Renew adhesive strips.

Remove retainer (5)

Pull out pin (6)

Installation: Grease the pin (6).

Unscrew nuts (4)

Nut, brake booster to pedal bearing bracket

Remove the brake booster (2)

Installation: Replace seal (3).

Install in the reverse order
