Remove/install

Remove upper engine cover

 Installation: Install after leak check.

Remove throttle valve actuator

Unlock and pull off vacuum line (4) on vacuum pump (1)

Unscrew bolts (3) and remove vacuum pump (1)

 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and replace seal (2). Observe position of vacuum pump (1) driver.

 Bolt, vacuum pump to crankcase or oil pump

Install in the reverse order



 Danger !

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
