Remove/install

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key

Detach hydraulic lines (3) from hydraulic unit (5)

 Seal the hydraulic lines (3) and hole on the hydraulic unit (5) using suitable  stop plugs.

 Threaded connection for brake lines at hydraulic unit

 Record plug

Remove hydraulic lines (4) from master brake cylinder to hydraulic unit (5)

 Seal the holes on the master brake cylinder and on the hydraulic unit (5) using suitable  stop plugs.

 Threaded connection for brake lines at hydraulic unit

Disconnect electrical connector (2)

Undo nuts (6) of hydraulic unit (5)

 Screw/bolt/nut, hydraulic unit to bracket

Remove hydraulic unit (5)

Install in the reverse order

Bleed brake system and test for leaks

Check fluid level in reservoir and correct if necessary



Connect diagnostic system and perform quick test



 Delete the fault memory if necessary.
