Remove HV battery module.

Remove left underfloor paneling.

Remove counternut (2) and adjusting nut (3) from cable slack adjuster.

Remove brake cable (1) from relay lever (4).

Unclip brake cable (1) from holder (11).

 Check holder (11) for damage.

If damage is present,



install new bracket (11).

Remove brake cable (1) from body feed-through of crossmember (5) and guide out of crossmember (5).

Lift up floor covering on driver's side.

Remove air duct (6).

 To do so, remove nuts (7).

Remove nuts (8).

Detach brake cable (1).

Remove brake cable (1) upwards through body feed-through.

 Installation: Make sure that the feed-through grommet (9) is seated correctly.

Install in the reverse order.

Adjust parking brake.
