1 | Remove brake shoes from rear axle | ||
2 | Unhook fixing spring (1) at the brake adjuster (2) and at the brake lining carrier (3) | ||
3 | Unhook return spring (4) from brake lining carrier (3) | ||
4 | Unhook spring (5) from brake lining carrier (3) | Installation: Observe curvature of teeth on the adjuster (8). These must be curved in the adjustment direction (arrow) of the thread. | |
5 | Remove threaded union (6) with spring and adjuster (8) from elbow (7) in brake adjuster (2) | Installation: Check direction of adjustment, in the process press against the elbow (7) and release again. Observe installation position of brake adjuster (2). Right side = left-hand thread on brake adjuster Left side = right-hand thread on brake adjuster Designations on brake adjuster are invalid. | |
