Remove brake shoes from rear axle

Unhook fixing spring (1) at the brake adjuster (2) and at the brake lining carrier (3)

Unhook return spring (4) from brake lining carrier (3)

Unhook spring (5) from brake lining carrier (3)

Installation: Observe curvature of teeth on the adjuster (8).

These must be curved in the adjustment direction (arrow) of the thread.

Remove threaded union (6) with spring and adjuster (8) from elbow (7) in brake adjuster (2)

Installation: Check direction of adjustment, in the process press against the elbow (7) and release again.

Observe installation position of brake adjuster (2).

Right side = left-hand thread on brake adjuster

Left side = right-hand thread on brake adjuster

Designations on brake adjuster are invalid.
