Remove

3

Remove center engine compartment lining and rear engine compartment lining.

AR61.20-P-1105ME

4

Remove heat shield at left or right by removing bolt (1) of rear transverse control arm mounting (2).

Only for caster adjustment, if installed.

Adjusting caster

5

Unfasten nut (4) on rear transverse control arm mounting (2).

6

Rock vehicle to settle suspension.

If rear transverse control arm bearing (2) is jammed.

7

Replace bolt (1) on rear transverse control arm mounting (2) with adjustment screw (5) with washer (6), and press rear transverse control arm mounting (2) towards vehicle center or outside of vehicle while doing so.

Use adjustment screw (5) with washer (6) only.

The adjustment (a) at the rear of the lower transverse control arm towards the vehicle center causes a reduction in caster.
The adjustment (b) at the rear of the lower transverse control arm towards outside of the vehicle causes an increase in caster.

8

Tighten nut (4) on rear transverse control arm mounting (2).
