Remove/install

Remove rear axle shaft (37a).

 Because a repair is only possible on certain rear axle shafts (37a), the availability of a repair kit should be checked in the EPC beforehand!

Remove cup seal (37i) at inner joint ring (37c) or outer joint ring (37b).

Disassemble constant velocity joint.

Press joint hub (37d) off of rear axle shaft (37a).

Remove boots (37l, 37m) of constant velocity joint opposite.

If necessary.

 The boots (37l, 37m) can be removed via the rear axle shaft (37a).



Check

Check constant velocity joints for wear.

If problems exist,



Replace rear axle shaft (37a).

Install in the reverse order.
