1 | Remove drive shaft (1). | ||
2 | Remove retaining band (2). | ||

3 | Cut open boot (3) and remove. | ||
4 | Remove boot grease | Clean drive joint (4) and ball housing (5). | |
5 | Unclip tension spacer (8). | Do not pry out at support ring (7). Tension spacer (8) only at outer side of drive joint (4). | |
6 | Remove support ring (7). | Support ring (7) only at outer side of drive joint (4). | |
7 | Remove drive joint (4). | Balls (6) may fall down. | |
8 | Remove boot grease | Clean drive joint (4), ball housing (5), balls (6), drive shaft (1), support ring (7), and tension spacer (8). | |
| Install | ||
9 | Fit drift (9) on drive shaft (1). | Apply light coating of provided boot grease to drift (9). | |

10 | Pull boot (3) over drift (9). | ||
11 | Remove drift (9) from drive shaft (10). | ||

12 | Grease ball housing (5) and balls (6) with boot grease provided. | ||
13 | Push ball housing (5) and balls (6) onto drive shaft (1). | ||
14 | Pull over tension spacer (8). | Only on outer side of drive joint (4). | |
15 | Pull support ring (7) over drive shaft (1). | Only on outer side of drive joint (4). | |
16 | Clip in tension spacer (8) and support ring (7). | Only on outer side of drive joint (4). | |
17 | Push on drive joint (4). | ||
18 | Press provided boot grease into boot (3). | Only use quantity of boot grease provided. | |
19 | Pull over boot (3) at drive joint (4) in guide. | ||
20 | Fit retaining band (2) at boot (3) | ||
