Clean wheel hub and rear axle shaft (2).

Assembly cleaner

Remove

Unscrew nuts (3).

Remove rear axle shaft (2).

 Collect oil which flows out.

 Commercially available devices/tools
Collecting pan



Clean

Clean flange of rear axle shaft (2).

Assembly cleaner

Check

5

Check rear axle shaft (2).

If corresponding findings are present,



Replace rear axle shaft (2).



Install

Replace stud bolts of wheel hub.

Install rear axle shaft (2).

 Coat flange with sealing compound.

Sealant, Hylomar universal sealant 80 ml

Screw on nuts (3).

 Nut, rear axle shaft to hub

Check

9

Check oil level of rear axle (1).

If corresponding findings are present,



Correct oil level.


