Remove left and right rear axle shaft

Remove rear underbody paneling

Unclip hand brake cable (1) on left and right from bracket (2) at axle tube (3)

Detach brake line (4) at left and right wheel brake cylinder (5)

Unclip brake line (4) from brackets at axle tube (3)

Unscrew the bolts (7)

Pull both drum brakes (8) complete from axle tube (3)

Remove locking plate (10)

Unscrew brake line (4) from brake hose (9) and take out of bracket (11)

Unscrew nuts (12) of left rear rpm sensor (L6/3) and right rear rpm sensor (L6/4), remove bolts and pull out left rear rpm sensor (L6/3) and right rear rpm sensor (L6/4)

Detach bracket of ABS line (13)

Support axle tube (3) using a suitable lever

Unscrew nut (14) from axle tube (3) at frame-type integral support (15) and remove bolt

Remove rear spring (16) on left and right

Remove axle tube (3)

Install in the reverse order
