Remove/install

Remove each front wheel.

Remove nut (3).

 Installation: Replace and secure nut (3).

 Collar nut, axle shaft to wheel hub

Remove drive shaft (4) from front axle differential.

 Bolt, input shaft to front axle gear

Remove torsion bar linkage (6) from stabilizer bar.

Remove bump stop (5).

 To do so, unscrew screw of bump stop (5).

 Bolt, stop plate to transverse control arm/bump stop

Remove stop plate (7).

 To do so, unscrew screw of stop plate (7).

 Bolt, stop plate to transverse control arm/bump stop

Remove transverse control arm (8) from front axle.

 Do not remove transverse control arm (8) from steering knuckle.

Remove drive shaft (4).

 Installation: Lightly grease gearing of drive shaft (4).

Long-life grease

Install in the reverse order.
