1 | Remove front wheels. | When removing the front wheels, the vehicle must be supported at the jacking points provided. | |
2 | Press off brake drum with two bolts | Identify position of brake drum to wheel hub with center punch mark. | |
3 | Remove front wheel hub | ||
4 | Remove steering knuckle | ||
| Disassemble | ||
5 | Remove sealing rings (1, 4) | ||
6 | Press out bearing bushings (2, 3) | Use a suitable drift. | |
7 | Loosen jam nut (6) and unscrew stop screw (5) | ||
8 | Inspect steering knuckle | Clean all parts, check for wear and replace if necessary | |
| Assemble | ||
9 | Press in new bearing bushings (2, 3) from the inside outwards | The new bearing bushings (2, 3) must be selected corresponding to the diameter of the bearing bushing bore. | |

10 | Press in sealing rings (1, 4) | The upper sealing ring (1) is marked in green. | |
| |||
11 | Screw in stop screw (5) | ||
12 | Tighten lock nut (6) | | |
| Install | ||
13 | Install steering knuckle | ||
14 | Install front wheel hub | ||
15 | Mount brake drum | Note marking | |
16 | Install front wheels | Adjust wheel stop bolts. |
