3 | Inspect the I-beam king pin bores. | The bore must be free from pitting, rust, scoring marks and cracks. | |
If any above mentioning indication is observed, | |||

replace the axle. | |||
4 | Inspect the stub axle bushes for wear in fitted condition. | Check bush bore inner diameter using vernier caliper. | |
5 | Inspect the king pin outer diameter using micrometer. |
