Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove

Remove the torsion bar linkage from the stabilizer bar (2).

Remove stabilizer bar (2).

 Unscrew screws (3) to do this.

Remove elastomer bearing (1) from stabilizer bar (2).

 To do so, remove holder from elastomer bearings (1).



Check

Check stabilizer bar (2).

 Check stabilizer bar (2) for wear and damage.

If corresponding findings are present,



Replace stabilizer bar (2).

Remove/install front stabilizer bar

Install

Install elastomer bearings (1) onto stabilizer bar (2).

 Check elastomer bearings (1) for wear and damage.

If corresponding findings are present,



replace elastomer bearings (1).

Mount stabilizer bar (2).

 Lightly tighten screw/bolts (3) by hand.

Install torsion bar linkage onto stabilizer bar (2).

Tighten bolts (3).

 Bolt, stabilizer bar to front axle carrier/integral carrier
