Remove/install

Remove clutch master cylinder (5).

Model 909 with transmission 711.680/683

Remove overcenter spring (23).

 Spring compressor

Remove retainer (27).

Remove washer (28).

Detach clutch pedal (26).

 Installation: Grease bushing of clutch pedal (26).

Long-life grease

Check stop buffer (29) for damage.

If damage is detected,



replace stop buffer (29).

Remove retainer (20).

Pull out bolt (18).

 Installation: Grease bolt (18).

Remove retainer (17).

Pull out bolt (14).

 Installation: Grease pin (14).

Long-life grease

Unhook spring (15) and remove brake pedal (16).

Release and disconnect electrical connector from brake light switch 1 (11).

Release and disconnect electrical connector from brake light switch 2 (30).

Remove bolt (13).

 Bolt, pedal support to firewall

Unscrew nuts (8) and remove pedal support (9).

 Nut, brake booster to pedal bearing bracket

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Check clutch operation in area of clutch master cylinder (5) for leak tightness.
