1 | Remove floor selector | Cable (6) stays attached to ignition lock. | |
2 | Switch on ignition | Lever (3) is pushed back by return spring and engages in lever (4). | |
3 | Release sliding sleeve (2) at length compensator (1) | ||
4 | Push lever (4) in direction of locking magnet (5) and move selector lever to "D" position at same time | ||
5 | Squeeze retaining catch at length compensator (1) and set play (X) to zero at same time | Length of cable (6) can be adjusted using catch in length compensator (1). | |
6 | Squeeze retaining catch and adjust catch in length compensator (1) by one notch, then engage retaining clips again | Play (X) represents one notch of the length compensator (1) when it is correctly adjusted. | |
7 | Lock sliding sleeve (2) at length compensator (1) | ||
8 | Switch off ignition | Check operation of parking shift lock, and if necessary: | |
