Remove/install

Remove front section of fender liner in fender on left side of vehicle.

Remove connecting strut between longitudinal member and crossmember.

 Screw/bolt, side connecting strut to body and front crossmember

Release and disconnect electrical connector(4).

Release and disconnect electrical connector (6).

Detach electrical wiring harness (5) from dual-clutch transmission control unit (1).

Remove bolts (2) .

 Bolt, control unit to transmission housing

Remove dual-clutch transmission control unit (1).

 Installation:
Make sure that the seals (3) are seated correctly.
Otherwise the dual-clutch transmission will leak.

 Installation:
Make sure that the dual-clutch transmission control unit (1) is seated correctly.
Otherwise the dual-clutch transmission will be damaged.

 Installation: Replace sealing rings (3).

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Reparameterize electronic transmission control.


