Remove/install

Remove front, center and rear lower engine compartment lining.

 Installation: Only install front, center and lower rear engine compartment lining again after a leak test.

Thoroughly clean connections of oil lines (1, 3) on automatic transmission (5) and oil cooler (6).

Remove screws (7, 8) and remove bracket (9.1) and holder (9.2).

 Installation: Align bracket (9.1) and holder (9.2).

 Bolt, clamp to oil line

Remove screws (2, 4).

 Installation: Align retaining clamps on oil lines (1, 3).

 Screw, oil cooler oil line clamp to oil pan

Remove oil lines (1, 3) from oil cooler (6) and seal openings using suitable stop plugs.

 Collect the oil in a suitable container.

Remove oil lines (1, 3) from automatic transmission (5) and seal openings using suitable stop plugs.

Route out oil lines (1, 3) and remove them.

Remove retaining clamps from oil lines (1, 3).

If the oil lines (1, 3) are replaced.

Install in the reverse order.

Check oil level in the automatic transmission (5) using the ultrasound device, correct if necessary.

Perform engine test run and check oil lines (1, 3), automatic transmission (5) and oil cooler (6) for leak tightness.

Install front, center and rear lower engine compartment lining.
