Remove lower engine compartment paneling.

Remove underfloor panels.

Loosen screws (3, 4) and turn brackets (5, 6) through 90°.

Unhook oil cooler feed line (1) from brackets (5, 6).

Remove oil cooler feed line (1) from automatic transmission oil cooler (7) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.

 Collect any transmission oil which runs out.

Remove oil cooler feed line (1).



Install

Position oil cooler feed line (1) in installation position.

Remove stop plugs and attach oil cooler feed line (1) to automatic transmission (8).

Remove stop plugs and attach oil cooler feed line (1) to automatic transmission oil cooler (7).

Rotate brackets (5, 6) through 90° and tighten screws (3, 4).

 Ensure correct installation position of oil cooler feed line (1) and oil cooler return line (2).

Check/correct transmission oil level.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Perform engine test run; when doing so, check oil cooling feed line (1) for leak tightness.
