Removing and installing

Thoroughly clean the area around the ventilation cap (1)

Risk of damage due to dirt entering the transmission
Use a fluff-free cloth

Carefully lift the ventilation cap with the tip of a screwdriver

Clean the ventilation cap and check for damage
Installation: Fit the cap into its borehole and secure with the aid of a rubber hammer
