	Remove
1	Remove intelligent servo module (ISM)		AR27.19-S-0550E
	Clean
2	Clean transmission housing (1) in area of shift shaft (40) and radial shaft sealing ring (20)	Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
	Remove
3	Remove oil pan		AR27.10-S-7030E
4	Remove bolt (16a)
5	Remove spring element from detent plate (16)
6	Remove clamp bolt from detent plate (82a)
7	Remove shift shaft (40)
8	Remove radial shaft sealing ring (20) using a suitable tool	 Make sure that the contact surface in the transmission housing (1) is not damaged. Leaks can occur otherwise.
	Check
9	Check shift shaft (40) for galling and damage	Depending on findings
		
		Replace shift shaft (40)
	Install
10	Drive radial shaft sealing ring (20) all the way into transmission housing (1) using drift (01)	 Check radial shaft sealing ring (20) is correctly seated in transmission housing (1). Leaks can occur otherwise.

11	Insert shift shaft (40)	 Make sure that the shift shaft (40) is positioned correctly in the detent plate (82).
12	Mount clamp bolt onto detent plate (82a)	 Clamp bolt of shift shaft to detent plate	*BA27.19-N-1003-01D
13	Mount spring element onto detent plate (16)
14	Screw in bolt (16a)	 Screw/bolt of detent plate spring element to electrohydraulic controller unit	*BA27.19-N-1004-01D
15	Install oil pan		AR27.10-S-7030E
		 Do not yet add gear oil.
16	Install intelligent servo module (ISM)		AR27.19-S-0550E
17	Fill transmission with gear oil		AR27.00-S-0270E
	Check
 Warning	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
18	Check transmission housing (1) at connecting points and on radial shaft sealing ring (20) with engine running for leak tightness, and check transmission for proper operation
