3 | Remove intermediate shaft (1) | Installation: Do not damage lip of radial shaft seal (4). The circlip (3) must engage safely in the transmission output shaft. | |
Installation: Insert the splines on the intermediate shaft (1) in the splines of the output shaft in the transmission. | |||

4 | Remove circlip (3) and sealing ring (2) on the intermediate shaft (1) | Installation: Replace circlip (3) and sealing ring (2) | |
5 | Remove rotary shaft seal (4) | Installation: Install radial shaft sealing ring (4) using drift punch. | |

Installation: Observe correct seating and even installation depth of radial shaft sealing ring (4) | |||
