 Danger !

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Push down brake pedal several times

 in order to eliminate any existing vacuum

Disconnect battery ground line

Disconnect/connect battery ground line

Remove rear axle shafts

Remove/install rear axle shaft

Remove transmission

Remove/install transmission

Remove bolts (1) on release lever (2)

6

Detach release lever (2) from output rod (4) and remove release lever (2)

Remove radial shaft sealing ring (5) from transmission housing (6)

 Insert the tool between the drive shaft (3) and radial shaft sealing ring (5), twist it and pull it out of the transmission housing (6).

 Do not damage snug fit in transmission housing (6).

Install

Insert radial shaft sealing ring (5) in transmission housing (6)

Mount drift on drive shaft (3) and drive radial shaft sealing ring (5) up to its final position in transmission housing (6)

 Use a plastic hammer.
Do not damage snug fit in transmission housing (6).

Mount release lever (2) and engage on pressure dome (4)

 Grease pressure dome (4).

Screw in bolts (1) on release lever (2)

 Screw/bolt, release system to transmission



Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory

Check program status "Trust Plus"

 Program status "Trust Plus" is located in the menu structure:
- Main menu
- Systems menu
- MEG control unit menu
- Diagnosis service menu
- Data and program status menu

 If the determined value is "59/59" or larger, the vehicle is equipped with the Trust Plus system and with the "Pulse clutch" program.
