 To do so, remove safety clip. Seal the connections and collect the discharged brake fluid.

Remove remaining screws of transmission (5) from engine

Remove transmission (5) by moving toward rear and lowering

 Installation: Apply light coating of grease to main shaft.

Perform visual inspection of central clutch release bearing, grooved ball bearing and flywheel

Install in the reverse order



Check oil level; correct as required



Perform a function check on clutch

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
