Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Remove/install

Remove battery carrier.

Extract brake fluid from brake fluid expansion reservoir (1).

Detach filling hose (2) from brake fluid expansion reservoir (1) and seal with suitable stop plugs.


The filling hose (2) may not be disconnected with clamping devices or pliers.
Otherwise the filling hose (2) will be damaged.


Protect painted surfaces from brake fluid.
Otherwise, the paint will be damaged.

Release safety clip (3) on clutch master cylinder (6).

 Do not remove safety clip (3).

Pull hydraulic line (4) out of clutch master cylinder (6).

Remove bolt (5) from clutch pedal (7).

 Installation: Check bolt (5), replace, if necessary.

Turn clutch master cylinder (6) to left and detach from guide in pedal support.

Remove clutch master cylinder (6) through the engine compartment.

Install in the reverse order.

Bleed clutch operation system.

Check the clutch master cylinder (6) for proper operation and leak tightness.
