 Danger!

Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes.

Pour brake fluid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Unscrew cap (2) of brake fluid reservoir (1)

Connect brake fluid changing unit to brake fluid reservoir (1) and switch on

 Observe owner's manual of brake fluid replacement unit.



Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Raise vehicle.

Remove dust cap from vent valve (3), connect hose of brake fluid receptacle (5) to vent valve (3) of slave cylinder (4) and open vent valve (3)

Close vent valve (3), detach hose of brake fluid receptacle (5) and press dust cap onto the vent valve (3)

 Only close the vent valve (3) when the brake fluid escapes free of bubbles and without contamination
(brake fluid is light in color).



Switch off brake fluid replacement unit and disconnect

 Observe owner's manual of brake fluid replacement unit.

Check brake fluid level and correct if necessary



Check function of clutch operator

Check leaktightness of brake system

 If a test trip is carried out after a repair to the hydraulic system, the brakes are to be applied with an ABS control.
