Detach expansion reservoir and swivel out of working area

Remove throttle valve actuator

Remove refrigerant compressor and swivel out of working area

 Do not drain off coolant, do not disconnect refrigerant lines.

Remove engine charge air duct downstream of charge air cooler

Unfasten guide tube for oil dipstick

Remove mounting plate (2)

 For this purpose, unscrew screws (3) and remove exhaust gas recirculation cooling solenoid valve (Y27/16).

 Screw/bolt, charge air pipe mounting plate to engine support

Remove screw (4)

 Bolt, front engine mount to engine support

Mount engine hoist and raise engine

Raise engine carefully.
This prevents damage.

 To do this, remove the screw/bolts (5).
