Remove/install

Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.

Remove bracket (11) and place to one side.

 For this purpose, remove nut at bracket (11).

Unclip electrical wiring harnesses (6) at line bracket (5).

Remove fuse and relay module.

 Remove fuse and relay module with connected electrical connectors until bolts (2) can be accessed.

Remove screws (2).

Remove nut (3).

Place fuse box (4) with fuse and relay module to one side.

Secure suitable lifting gear to lifting lugs (10) and slightly lift axle drive module using engine hoist.

Workshop crane

 Lift axle drive module until engine mount (1) is relieved.

Remove screw (7).

 Screw, engine stabilizer mount at top to engine carrier

Remove screws (8).

 Screw/bolt, engine mount bracket to body

Remove screws (9).

Remove engine mount (1) with engine carrier (1.1).



Check

Check engine mount (1) with the engine carrier (1.1) for damage.

If engine mount (1) and/or engine carrier (1.1) are damaged:



Replace engine mount (1) with the engine carrier (1.1).

Install in the reverse order.
