| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove air filter housing. | ||
2 | Remove cover (2). | To do this, unclip cover (2) at fan unit (1). | |
3 | Raise vehicle. | ||

4 | Remove lower engine compartment paneling |

5 | Remove lines (3) from fan unit (1). | Position lines (3) outside of working area. | |
6 | Lower vehicle. | ||
7 | Disconnect electrical connection (4). | ||
8 | Remove locks (5). | ||
9 | Press radiator unit (6) in direction of engine. | | |
10 | Remove fan unit (1). | To do this, pull fan unit (1) upwards out of locks (7) and brackets (8). | |
Installation: Ensure that fan unit (1) is seated correctly in locks (7) and brackets (8). | |||
11 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| Check | ||
12 | Check fan unit (1) for proper operation. |
