 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove/install

Remove heat shield(3)

Remove the cap (2)

Suction off coolant from coolant expansion reservoir (1) and collect coolant in suitable container

 Hand pump

Remove the vent line (4) from the coolant expansion reservoir (1) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs

Unclip the coolant expansion reservoir (1)

Remove the coolant hose (5) from the coolant expansion reservoir (1) and seal openings using suitable protective covers

Release and disconnect electrical connection (6)

Remove the coolant expansion reservoir (1)

Check the rubber guides of the coolant expansion reservoir (1) for damage

In case of a complaint



Replace rubber guides.

Install in the reverse order

Check engine cooling system for leaktightness
