 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove/install

Remove cap (2).

Suction off coolant from the coolant expansion reservoir (1).

Clamp off coolant hose (4).

Release and disconnect the electrical connector (5).

Unclip the wiring harness from the coolant expansion reservoir (1) and place to one side.

Remove the bleed line (3) from the coolant expansion reservoir (1) and seal the openings with suitable stop plugs.

Remove the coolant return line from the coolant expansion reservoir (1) at the top and seal the openings with suitable protective covers.

Unclip coolant expansion reservoir (1).

Remove the coolant hose (4) from the coolant expansion reservoir (1) and seal the openings with suitable protective covers.

Remove the coolant expansion reservoir (1).

Install in the reverse order.

Check engine cooling system for leak tightness.
