1 | Drain coolant | ||
2 | Unscrew bolt (1) | ||
3 | Remove coolant hose (2) on coolant pipe (3). | Collect coolant which flows out in a suitable vessel. | |
4 | Lower vehicle | ||
5 | Remove air cleaner housing | ||
6 | Pull bleed hose (4) upwards | The bleed hose (4) is fixed at the lower end on the transmission with a fishplate. | |
7 | Unscrew bolts (5) on charge air pipe (7) | ||
8 | Remove charge air hose (6) on charge air pipe (7) and place charge air pipe (7) aside | ||
9 | Remove electrical wiring harness (8) on bracket (9) | ||
10 | Detach vacuum line (10) | ||
11 | Unscrew bolts (11, 12) | ||
12 | Loosen clamp (13) from coolant hose (14) | ||
13 | Pull coolant pipe (3) out of coolant hose (14) and remove | ||
14 | Install in reverse order | ||
Danger! | Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns when working in engine during starting procedure | Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving. | |
15 | Perform engine test run and check coolant system around the coolant pipe (3) for leaks | Until the cooling fan is switched on. |
