1 | Drain coolant at radiator | ||
2 | Remove screw/bolts and detach the bracket (2) on coolant thermostat (3) and on charge air distributor | ||
3 | Disconnect electrical connection (4) | ||
4 | Detach coolant hoses (5, 6) at coolant thermostat (3) | Installation: Check clamps on coolant hoses (5, 6) for damage and replace if necessary. | |
5 | Remove coolant thermostat (3) on cylinder head | Installation: Replace seal. | |
Bolt, coolant thermostat housing to cylinder head | |||
6 | Clean sealing surface on cylinder head | ||
7 | Remove coolant temperature sensor (B11) | When replacing the coolant thermostat (3) | |
8 | Install in the reverse order |
