| Remove/install | ||
1 | Drain engine oil. | ||

Installation: Only install center lower engine compartment lining after leak test. | |||
2 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (2). | ||
3 | Remove screws/bolts (3). | Bolt, mounting for fill level sensor | |
4 | Remove engine oil fill level sensor (B40/6). | Installation: Replace sealing ring. | |
5 | Install in the reverse order. | ||

Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. | Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. | |
6 | Carry out engine test run and check engine for proper leaktightness and leaktightness. | ||
7 | Install bottom center engine compartment lining. |
