Risk of death cased by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between the columns of the hydraulic hoist and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Raise vehicle.

Unscrew oil filter (2)

Collect oil which flows out in a suitable vessel.

Installation: replace oil filter (2) and cover oil filter seal (2) with engine oil.

Unclamp coolant hoses (3) using appropriate hose clamps and dismantle at oil-water heat exchanger (1)

Collect coolant which flows out in a suitable vessel.

Remove bolts (4)

Remove oil-water heat exchanger (1)

Installation: replace seal for oil-water heat exchanger (1).

Install in the reverse order

Danger!

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns when working in engine during starting procedure

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.

Perform engine test run and check for leaks at oil water heat exchanger (1)

Check engine oil level by means of oil dipstick

Fill level must be between "Min" and "Max", otherwise engine damage could occur.

Let engine run for approx. 1 minute, then switch off and wait approx. 5 minutes.

Test fill level again and correct if required.

Check coolant level, correct if necessary

Engine cooling system - inspect fluid level, adjust to correct level. Inspect anticorrosion/ antifreeze protection, adjust to correct concentration
