Remove/install

Danger!

Injury hazard Risk of injury to skin and eyes from scalding due to splashing of hot coolant. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

Drain coolant

At radiator

Unplug connector (2) at coolant temperature sensor (1)

Pull out retaining clamp (3)

Pull coolant temperature sensor (1) out of coolant thermostat housing

Collect coolant which flows out

Installation: install new sealing ring (4).

Install in the reverse order

Inspect cooling system for leaks
